On Wednesday, we were finally able to photograph our first engagement session back, and these two were absolutely incredible!! From the moment I met Kaila + Dan a year ago, I have been eagerly waiting to get these two in front of my camera!
On what was the hottest day of the year so far, we explored Valley Forge National Park, right where Dan proposed! These two are the absolutely sweetest and we can not wait to celebrate with them in October!
All about the proposal!
We woke up on a Saturday and decided to go to our favorite hiking spot with Ellie. I had no clue – he was super calm and acted completely normal. Towards the end of our walk we decided to play “hide and seek” with our dog….I know, we are those super lame dog parents. So I decided to hide from her. When she found me I noticed that she had something shiny on her neck. I went to go reach for it but she ran away. When I got closer to her Danny was standing right near her. He took the ring off of her, got down on one need and popped the question. It was perfect.
What are your favorite things to do together?
I think one of our favorites things is waking up, having coffee and sitting outside on our front bench with our Ellie girl (our dog lol). We also love going for walks/hikes with the dog, traveling (we recently went to New Orleans), drinking beer and having fires at our house.
What are you looking forward to most about your wedding day?
For me it’s definitely walking down the isle and seeing Danny’s reaction. I can’t wait! I’m the type of person that at every wedding I look back at the groom to see their faces because it just shows how much they love their bride. So getting to experience that for myself is exciting! I also can’t wait to dance with my HUSBAND all night!
