On Sunday, we met Caitlyn + John for their engagement session on Caitlyn’s family’s Farm! We loved getting to know their sweet and silly relationship, while getting to see all of the magical spots their home has to offer! We are so excited to be photographing their wedding day here next year!
What are your favorite thing to do together?
John and I both work a lot. We are both employed full time but aside from that I am a huge member of my family farm. Since the beginning John has jumped into the everyday life of the farm and we both spend most of our free time at the dairy. That being said, it makes it easy to understand that our favorite things to do are to work along side one another either at the farm or in doing a complete update on our house.
Tell us about the proposal!
The farm is a central part in our relationship which I’m sure is evident. I am so thankful for how John has be so willing to make it a part of his life not just mine. Every other Sunday John, my sister and I have the chores at the farm of milking and feeding. It was about 6am that morning and we were beginning to wrap up our final jobs of the morning. I was milking our last cow when I turned around to John down on one knee. I responded with a playful “get outta here” before a single word ever came out of his mouth. After that I don’t remember much other then I said yes.
