Tell us about the proposal!
“It was our six year anniversary and we were down the shore for the fourth of July holiday weekend. I had booked a dinner reservation in Margate for our anniversary. Steve had just recently got a new job offer the week prior and was very busy with that, that the idea of a potential proposal was not even on my mind (how would he have time to plan it???). But after dinner we went on a walk to check out some new fishing spots along the bay while waiting for an uber (that Steve never called). When we got to this one spot on the bay he paused and got down on one knee and proposed!! My sister was hiding and captured it all. Then she drove us back to my parent’s shore house where he planned a celebration party. Both my family and his family surprised us at the house and we celebrated the engagement!
